About us
Quality Green recommends natural and/or organic products and practices that work better in every way compared to programs using chemical, high salt index fertilizer materials and pesticides such as ammonium nitrate and potassium chloride (muriate of potash/MOP). Owner Dana Venrick received his M.S. from the University of Florida in Botany (Plant Physiology), Fruit Crops, and Chemistry. He has owned and operated a large Citrus grove and an ornamental & fruit tree nursery. He served six years with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and 10 years with the University of Florida UF/IFAS as a Commercial Horticulture Agent.
